Henrietta Growth Corporation –We mean Business

The city’s economic development activities are coordinated by Henrietta Growth Corporation (HGC) located in the city offices at 101 North Main. HGC was established in 1993 after citizens approved a half cent sales tax to be used for economic development.

Since its inception, HCG has provided much needed funds to assist local businesses. Most recently, HGC provided funds for Henrietta’s new Pecan Shed.

HGC is governed by a seven person board, appointed by the City Council. Board members include , Wade Bryant (President), Debra Bell (Vice President), Mike Scott, Robert Lavy, Don Davis, Klayton Hoff and Eric Nelson.

Larry King (HGC Director) and members of the board are currently searching for entrepreneurs interested in opening or expanding businesses in Henrietta. Most of the group’s efforts are concentrated on recruiting developers for retail businesses to locate in the downtown area and along US287.
